About

Aaron Edwards, Senior Consultant

As a strategic advisor, consultant and academic with almost two decades of experience in professional military education, I help clients navigate complexity and conflict through evidence-based insight, tailored training, and operational strategy.

My expertise blends research leadership with practical military service, including 7 years in the British Army Reserve and deployment as an MoD Civilian in support of Op TELIC in Iraq.

I have advised government departments, counter-terrorism agencies, and NGOs on geopolitical risk, terrorism, insurgency, and other forms of asymmetric warfare across more than 25 countries. I’m also an experienced public speaker, published author, and Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and Higher Education Academy.

Through my consultancy work, I offer:

Strategic risk analysis and red teaming

Intelligence education and OSINT methodology

Civil-military operations and policy advising

Leadership development and HEAT training

Curriculum design for PME and corporate resilience

As a member of the Security Institute (MSyI), Institute of Strategic Risk Management (M.ISRM), and IAFIE, I combine academic depth with field-tested adaptability – empowering clients to think critically, act decisively, and operate ethically in complex environments.
